Digital Music Distribution Terms & Conditions
1. Terms & Conditions.
By checking out via Paypal you give us the right to digitally distribute your Audio and Artwork for a six month minimum period.
2. Fees.
A full payment is due immediately upon the agreement of the project where 25% is non-refundable if a refund is requested.
Please note: We need your music and any artwork six weeks before release date.
Once we have received payment and submitted your song to our distributers we cannot change the release date.
3. Release dates.
If your order is not available on requested release date we will converse with you and if required cancel your order.
4. Payments.
If a month after release end date we still have not received the full six months sales info from the download sites you will then have the option to receive part payments: e.g. the first four months of your release then the final two months as soon as we receive them.
4.1 Royalties Payments.
Please note you will only be paid royalties if ure song is used commercially
e.g legal radio. Not everyone will be paid any royalties but will still be chart eligible.
Each year there is one main pay out. (That currently takes place at the end of June via Cheque or Paypal) At this, revenues collected the previous calendar year are paid out. So, for example, revenues collected between
1st January 2007 and 31st December 2007 were distributed on 30th June 2008
So if your release were in June 2007 you would be paid royalties for June 2007-Dec 2007 in June 2008
Please note all our download packages are for a six month minimum period. If you require longer simply purchase another six-month package taking into account if its not available on itunes ect there is no way it can get into the UK charts. Once you have paid the £50 for chart registration you will only have to purchase another itunes package.
If you do choose Chart registration you will receive royalties through alternative boy for the duration of the release (six month period) paid the following June.
If your release date splits the year e.g. Nov 25th 2008 you will be paid two royalties payments one in June 2009 and one in June 2010 to cover the full six months. (If you purchase an additional six months then we will look after your royalties for this period too and so fourth)
If you still want to receive royalties after this time you must register yourself with a royalties agency, inform us and we will send you over the relevant Information for the product so any royalties will be paid to you/your label.
5.0 Art work
we hold the right to not accept a piece of artwork if it does not abide by are image rules (see info pack)
6.0 Release date
Sometimes songs can appear on requested download websites before required release date…this is out of our control and down to the respected download sites.
we try to insure that music is available on or before the release date you’ve requested.
